Use case
The report that sells the renewal
Draftd writes monthly and quarterly client reports in three parts: what you did, what it moved and what comes next. Charts are drawn into the document and the client acknowledges it on a page in your branding. The next quarter’s proposal is one document away.
- What you did, what it moved, what comes next
- Charts drawn into the page and the PDF
- Acknowledged, so you know it was read
The problem
Reports take a day and prove very little
Screenshots of dashboards
The report is a pile of exported graphs with a paragraph under each. The client cannot see what changed because of you.
Written in a hurry, every month
It is due on the fifth and takes most of a day. It reads like it was written on the fourth.
Sent and never mentioned again
You do not know whether the person who signs off the budget ever opened it.
What it does
How a client report works in Draftd
Edit anything, regenerate nothing
Ask for a chart at the cursor from your figures and it is drawn into the document, on the page and in the PDF. Add a table or rewrite a paragraph and nothing else changes.
Read, and on record
A report is not signed, because there is nothing to agree to. The client acknowledges it, which records that it was read.
Structures you can keep
Save the report as a structure: same sections, same order, your method explained once. Next month starts from there.
Written in your voice
Your tone and the words you never use go into every report, so the fiftieth reads as carefully as the first.
Know when it is read
See when it was opened and how many times. A report read four times before the renewal meeting is worth knowing about.
More than one brand
Report under the name the client knows. Each brand has its own logo, colours and type, chosen per document.
What you would send
Reports people send from Draftd
Anything that accounts for a period of work and points at the next one.
- Monthly SEO and content report
- Quarterly paid social results
- Monthly management accounts commentary

- Coaching programme progress report
How it works
From the call to the deposit, in one link
What actually happens, in order, from the first brief to the money arriving.
Tell it about your business
Your services and prices, your tone and the words you never use. Ten minutes, once, and it is the difference between a document that sounds like you and one that sounds like everybody.
Write the document
Paste a call transcript or answer a short brief, pick a structure, and a full draft comes back in about a minute. Edit anything. Nothing is locked.
Send it from you
The client gets a link to a page in your branding. Replies come to you, and you see when it is opened and how often.
They sign in the browser
No account and no printer. They choose a package if you offered more than one, type their name and sign, and you get an email the moment they do.
The deposit is paid on the same page
By card straight into your Stripe account, or by bank transfer. The rest of the payments, and any retainer, are tracked in Cashflow until they arrive.
Which plan
From £19 a month, free for 14 days
Reports go out every month, so count your clients against the send limit: Starter gives 10 sends a month and Growth (£39 a month) gives 50, with three brands and logins for the team.
Questions
Questions about client reports
Where do the figures come from?
From you. Paste the month’s numbers or your notes into the brief, and the report is written from them. Check every figure before you send, as you would with any draft.
Can the charts go into the PDF?
Yes. Charts are drawn into the document itself, so they appear on the page the client reads and in the PDF export.
What does acknowledging a report do?
It records that the client read it, with the time. Reports and audits are acknowledged rather than signed, because there is nothing in them to agree to.
Can a report lead into a renewal?
Yes. Write the proposal for the next quarter from the same account, for the same contact. Both sit on their history, beside every report you have sent them.
How much does it cost to send monthly reports?
Plans start at £19 a month, with 14 days free and AI credit included. Each report costs pence of model time, or nothing extra with your own API key.
