Draftd for agencies
The pitch, the scope and the monthly report in one place
Draftd writes retainer proposals, statements of work and monthly client reports for marketing, digital and creative agencies, in one house voice whoever on the team is writing. Clients sign and set up the retainer on a page in your branding, and Stripe charges it every month.
- One house voice across every account manager
- Retainers signed and charged monthly
- Monthly reports written from your notes and numbers
The problem
More clients, more paperwork, the same week
Five writers, five voices
Each account manager has their own version of the proposal template, and the client can tell which one wrote theirs.
Reports eat the first week of the month
Pulling numbers, writing the commentary and formatting the deck takes a day per client, every month.
Signed retainers still need billing
The client says yes, then finance sets up the invoice, then somebody chases it. The first month is half over before the first payment.
What it does
What Draftd does for an agency
Your team, with roles
Bring in up to 5 people on Growth, or as many as you need on Scale. Decide who runs the settings and the team, and see who did what.
Structures you can keep
Save the agency’s retainer proposal and monthly report as structures, with your method and terms already written, so every account manager starts from the same place.
Retainers that bill themselves
The monthly fee is set up once at signing and charged by Stripe each month, with the setup fee on the same document.
More than one brand
Run a sub-brand or a specialist unit under its own name? Give each brand its own logo, colours and type, and choose which one a document wears.
Told the moment they sign
Everybody who runs the account is emailed the moment a client signs, with the package they chose, so a win never sits unnoticed.
Without our name
On Scale, take the Draftd name off every document and email, send from your own domain and host documents on it. On other plans the Draftd name stays.
What you would send
The documents an agency sends
From the pitch to the report that keeps the retainer, written in the agency’s voice whoever is at the keyboard.
- SEO and content retainer, three tiers
- Statement of work for a website rebuild
- Paid media audit
- Monthly performance report
- Campaign launch proposal
- Quarterly business review
How it works
From the call to the deposit, in one link
What actually happens, in order, from the first brief to the money arriving.
Tell it about your business
Your services and prices, your tone and the words you never use. Ten minutes, once, and it is the difference between a document that sounds like you and one that sounds like everybody.
Write the document
Paste a call transcript or answer a short brief, pick a structure, and a full draft comes back in about a minute. Edit anything. Nothing is locked.
Send it from you
The client gets a link to a page in your branding. Replies come to you, and you see when it is opened and how often.
They sign in the browser
No account and no printer. They choose a package if you offered more than one, type their name and sign, and you get an email the moment they do.
The deposit is paid on the same page
By card straight into your Stripe account, or by bank transfer. The rest of the payments, and any retainer, are tracked in Cashflow until they arrive.
Which plan
From £19 a month, free for 14 days
Most agencies start on Growth: up to 5 people with roles and 3 brands. Move to Scale (£59 a month) for unlimited people and sends, or to send from your own domain without the Draftd name.
Questions
Questions from agencies
Can we white label it?
On Scale, yes: emails come from your own domain, documents sit on your own domain and the Draftd name is removed. On Starter and Growth, emails go from Draftd’s address under your agency’s name, with replies going to you.
Can it write our monthly client reports?
Yes. Give it your notes and the month’s numbers and it writes what you did, what it moved and what comes next. Add charts where they help, edit anything and send it for the client to acknowledge.
How do we keep everyone on message?
Your voice settings, banned words and saved structures apply to every document, whoever writes it. The AI is instructed to quote your prices exactly, and everything can be edited before it is sent.
Can several people at the client receive the proposal?
Yes. A document can be addressed to several people, all named on the cover and in the To line. The client signs and you can countersign. Draftd records the name, email, time, browser and IP address of each signature.
What does it cost?
Growth is £39 a month for the team, with 14 days free and AI credit to start. Each document costs a few pence of AI time, or you can use your own API key.
