Draftd for IT services
Sell the support plan, then the project it uncovers
Draftd writes proposals for managed IT and tech support firms, with your support plans side by side at the price for the client’s headcount. The client chooses a plan, signs and sets up the monthly fee on a page in your branding. The security review you send next makes the case for the project after.
- Support plans compared and chosen at signing
- Monthly fees charged by card into your Stripe
- Audits with ranked findings that lead to work
The problem
The technical work is clear. The paperwork is not
Every quote starts in a spreadsheet
Users times plan price, plus onboarding, minus the discount you agreed on the phone, pasted into a document that looks nothing like your website.
Audits that go nowhere
You find twelve problems in the security review, send a PDF and hear nothing back, because nothing in it asks for a decision.
Projects blur into support
The migration was a project, but nobody wrote down where it ended, so it quietly became part of the monthly fee.
What it does
What Draftd does for an IT support firm
Let them choose a package
Show Essential, Complete and a plan with on-site visits at the price for this client’s headcount. They choose one as they sign and the monthly fee follows.
Retainers that bill themselves
The support plan is set up once at signing and charged to the client’s card each month by Stripe, alongside any onboarding fee.
Read, and on record
Send a security review or IT audit with findings ranked by what matters most. The client acknowledges it, and the project proposal follows from it.
Your prices, as written
Your per-user rates, onboarding fees and project prices, quoted exactly as you set them. It does not invent a figure to fill a gap.
Your team, with roles
Engineers write the audit, sales sends the proposal. Up to 5 people on Growth, each with a role.
Webhooks and an API
A signed webhook when a proposal is signed or a retainer starts, and an API key to create contacts and documents from your own systems.
What you would send
The documents an IT firm sends
The plan that starts the relationship, the review that finds the next project and the scope that keeps it separate.
- Managed support, three plans
- Cyber security review
- Statement of work for an email and file migration
- Network refresh proposal
- Backup and recovery audit
- Quarterly service report
How it works
From the call to the deposit, in one link
What actually happens, in order, from the first brief to the money arriving.
Tell it about your business
Your services and prices, your tone and the words you never use. Ten minutes, once, and it is the difference between a document that sounds like you and one that sounds like everybody.
Write the document
Paste a call transcript or answer a short brief, pick a structure, and a full draft comes back in about a minute. Edit anything. Nothing is locked.
Send it from you
The client gets a link to a page in your branding. Replies come to you, and you see when it is opened and how often.
They sign in the browser
No account and no printer. They choose a package if you offered more than one, type their name and sign, and you get an email the moment they do.
The deposit is paid on the same page
By card straight into your Stripe account, or by bank transfer. The rest of the payments, and any retainer, are tracked in Cashflow until they arrive.
Which plan
From £19 a month, free for 14 days
Most IT firms start on Growth, at £39 a month, so engineers and sales can both write and send. A one-person support business fits on Starter, with 10 sends a month.
Questions
Questions from IT services firms
Can I price support per user?
Keep your per-user rates in your services and the proposal quotes them exactly. Each plan on the document shows the monthly total for this client’s headcount, and you can edit any figure before it is sent.
Does it connect to our ticketing or PSA tool?
There are no ready-made integrations. Draftd sends a signed webhook for every send, open, signature, payment and retainer start, and has an API key for creating contacts and documents, so your own systems can listen and act.
How do audits turn into projects?
An audit ranks findings by what matters and the client acknowledges it. Then send a proposal or statement of work for the fixes, written from the same findings.
How are client documents kept secure?
Each organisation’s data is kept apart by the database, document links are long and random, and Draftd never sees card details, which go straight to Stripe.
What does it cost?
Plans start at £19 a month, with 14 days free and AI credit to start. A proposal or audit costs a few pence of AI time, or you can use your own API key.
