Use case
An audit that ranks what matters first
Draftd writes audits that put the findings in order of what matters, so the client reads the serious problems before the small ones. They acknowledge it on a page in your branding, and the fix goes out as a proposal from the same account.
- Findings ranked from high to low
- Acknowledged, not signed
- Leads straight into a proposal for the fix
The problem
Most audits are long lists nobody acts on
Forty findings, equal weight
A missing alt tag sits next to a broken checkout, and the client cannot tell which one is costing them money.
A PDF in an inbox
You send it and they say thanks. You have no idea whether anyone got past page two.
No route to the work
The audit finds the problems and then stops. The proposal to fix them is a separate job, written days later.
What it does
How an audit works in Draftd
Read, and on record
There is nothing to agree to in an audit, so the client acknowledges it instead of signing. You have a record that it was read, and when.
Straight from the call
Paste your notes or the transcript of the walkthrough call and the findings are drafted from what you found and what the client said worried them.
Edit anything, regenerate nothing
Add a chart of page speed or a table of errors where the cursor is, rewrite one finding or move it up the order. The rest stays as it is.
Know when it is read
See when the audit was opened and how many times, so you know when to suggest the call about fixing it.
Structures you can keep
Save your audit layout, with your method and scoring explained once, and every audit after starts from it.
PDF when you need one
Export it to a PDF that matches the page, charts included, for the client who needs to forward it to a board.
What you would send

How it works
From the call to the deposit, in one link
What actually happens, in order, from the first brief to the money arriving.
Tell it about your business
Your services and prices, your tone and the words you never use. Ten minutes, once, and it is the difference between a document that sounds like you and one that sounds like everybody.
Write the document
Paste a call transcript or answer a short brief, pick a structure, and a full draft comes back in about a minute. Edit anything. Nothing is locked.
Send it from you
The client gets a link to a page in your branding. Replies come to you, and you see when it is opened and how often.
They sign in the browser
No account and no printer. They choose a package if you offered more than one, type their name and sign, and you get an email the moment they do.
The deposit is paid on the same page
By card straight into your Stripe account, or by bank transfer. The rest of the payments, and any retainer, are tracked in Cashflow until they arrive.
Which plan
From £19 a month, free for 14 days
Audits are often the paid first step before a bigger project, so the count matters less than the follow-up. Starter covers 10 sends a month; Growth (£39 a month) adds logins for the team doing the reviewing.
Questions
Questions about client audits
Why is an audit acknowledged rather than signed?
An audit reports what you found. There is nothing in it for the client to agree to, so they acknowledge it, which records that it was read. Proposals and statements of work are signed.
How are the findings ranked?
The draft orders them by what matters to this client, from what you give it. You can move any finding up or down, change its rating or rewrite it before you send.
Can I turn the findings into a proposal?
Yes. Write the proposal for the fix from the same account, for the same contact, with your services and prices for the work. Both sit on the contact’s history.
Can I charge for the audit itself?
Yes. Many businesses send a short proposal for the audit first, signed and paid on the page, then deliver the audit as its own document.
What does it cost to write audits in Draftd?
Plans start at £19 a month, with 14 days free and AI credit included. Each document costs a few pence of model time, or nothing extra with your own API key.
